Exercise R Us » Jogging » Watch out for Cats with Roaccutane! :-)
Question:
Hi, Just a word of warning for those on Roaccutane! Talk about thinning of skin – my cat has just scratched me on my neck and my hand whilst I was trimming her claws, and I look like I’ve been mauled by a tiger! Does anyone else find that little scrapes and scratches that wouldn’t normally show up turn into big marks and hang around for ages? I have two cats, and my hands and arms are now covered in what look like deep gouges
Ah well, I’m almost half way through the course
Back to see the dermatologist next week. I’m already dreaming of not having chapped lips any more. And no zits too would be nice, of course ;-)
Response:
I was jogging and scratched my arm on a branch. Something that would normally go away in a few days. It has hung around for over a week and shows little sign of getting better. The red marks left over from accutane are very dieheartening, but I know they will fade in time. I am on week 5. >Does anyone else find that little scrapes and scratches that wouldn’t – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text ->normally show up turn into big marks and hang around for ages?
Response:
I found that problem being on Minocin. Mosquito bites, scratches, whatever would leave marks for weeks.
