The folks at www.flightsim.com already have a Hawaiian 717 in the new paint job ready for download. Looks great in MS Flight Simulator 2000. Craig

Response:

Yep, I downloaded it last week, a beautiful plane.  I hope to be on the real one in a few weeks.

I wonder whether AA possibly not exercising some of TW’s options on B717’s will result in other operators, like HA, getting their orders filled faster. -Dan — Dan Birchall – Palolo Valley – Honolulu HI – http://dan.scream.org/ My addresses expire… take out the hex stamp if your reply bounces

Did the AA offer include buying 717 rights? Can they be transfered? Michael

AA won’t take 15 at the very most.  AA’c confirmed the TW firm order for an additional 20 over the first 15 already ordered.

If I recall, the TW-AA deal involves AA picking up some of the 717’s TW had ordered, but _not_ all of them, so there might be some extras in the pipeline that could be completed for other customers. -Dan — Dan Birchall – Palolo Valley – Honolulu HI – http://dan.scream.org/ My addresses expire… take out the hex stamp if your reply bounces
